Term 1 inquiry

Room 8:In room 8 we have been learning notes and playing notes on the:key board and guitar.Also we did beats by using our body.

Room 9:In room 9 we have been learning about king Tawhiro and how he used integrity and stopped the battle by laying down his gun and saying"we will not shoot people we will only shoot birds".






Room 10:In room 10 we did integrity games and my game was called triple sport.Triple sport is a game that when you call a sport and the players go and do the sport you yell out first goal wins then the person that scores have to do 10 star jumps.

Mountain biking trip

My Mt Pirongia Biking Trip.
Hi I'm William yeeles and kahikatea team went up to the Mt Pirongia Mountain biking club.First we went to a little kid track it was cool as a warm up after morning tea we got to do a easy bike track when we got let go I already tiring but when we went down the track it was really really fun when we got to the bottom of the track it joined onto the little kid track,so we did 3 laps of the easy track.Then after lunch the teachers and the bike club runners asked if any one wan'ted to go on a harder track It was extremely hard to get up to the top and when we got to the top we had a 10 second window between each other it was a once in a life time experience.This trip was one of the funnest trips I'v done with kahikatea team teachers and kids.Thanks for all of the people that made this trip possible😊.

                                                   My Reflection

Math:In math this week we have done a lot of mathletics my points this week for mathletics are:3,840 on mathletics my mane focus was geometry and did 3840 points worth of geometry and place value.

Reading:In reading this week we haven't done a lot of reading but we had must do can do's and we started our interest slide.

Spelling:In spelling I'm pretty confident i will  pass my list and we also did our learning conferences.

Math:In math this week we have been doing BIG equations and had to work them out in a special way it was fun and challenging at the same time.

Reading:In reading this week we had t write a sentence using long "oi" sound it was challenging.I'm not much of a reader.

Writing:In writing this week we worked on metaphors and I love this is pretty easy so over all I had a pretty good week.  

Spelling:In spelling it's possible I could pass but you never kNow

Reading:This week in reading we have been doing brain banks and it is pretty easy so my week was pretty good😎.

The first couple of weeks we have been learning pitch,

dynamics and tempo.Room 8 was doing tempo,room 9 dynamics and room 10 pitch.pitch is high and low.Tempo is fast and slow.Dynamics is loud and quiet.

This year I am looking forward to the main camp and also looking forward to new friends and all the day trips as well.

This term for inquiry we have been learning art.We have been focusing on the artists Vincent van gogh and Pablo Picasso.The style of art we did mas graffiti,photography,satry night.

My proud moment this term was all my calf ribbons and stuff at my shows that I went to with my calf called Ivy.I went to pirongia school agriculture day,paterangi group day,Waikoto show and jersey classic.And the best part is I got a at least one ribbon at every show.🐮  


      

My inquiry term 4

This term kahikatea team went to the snow(Mt Ruapehu) we all had our rooms for three days then on the way home we went to the taupo hot pools.So that gave the teachers some ideas about our inquiry so our inquiry is trying to come up with ideas to make either debretts hot pools or Mt Ruapehu and choose debretts so now i have to come up with an upgrade for debretts hot pools.
